This is my first post ever in my brand new blow "The Broccoli Diaries"! So excited. So let me tell you a little bit about myself. I am a 21 year old living in the NY/NJ area. Moved up here from Tampa, FL where I went to college. Can I hear a GO BULLS?! I graduated with a degree in finance and economics from the University of South Florida where I was also a member of the golf team! Being a student athlete was INTENSE, but it got me into fitness and gave me the tools I needed to get into shape.
I am on my first ever big girl job here. It is an office job so I try to stay active as much as I possibly can. Even if that means I wake up at 5:30 every morning and head to the gym before work. I also take advantages of the fitness classes offered by my company's gym so I try to get moving during my lunch break or after work too!
I started cooking very recently and either I am very good, or my taste buds are still in college mode and LOVE everything I put into my mouth! I bring lunch to work everyday and eat in as much as I can because during the weekend I spend most of my paycheck on SUSHIIIIIII (drool on my keyboard)! Ohh yeah you must know that I am absolutely obsessed with Broccoli. I eat a bag of steamed frozen brocolli everyday and I LOVE it. I wonder if I will ever get tired of it.
The reason I am starting the blog is to have a network of friends who will keep me accountable to my fitness training and eating habits! Its hard when you have the will power of a 3 year old! I want to share my strengths, weaknesses, and challenges with all of you! I want to share my tips and get some in return!
